Cyberpunk 2077 Patch 2.50 Leak Points to a New Gig and Console FOV

An early-published video by YouTuber Was Nemo says Cyberpunk 2077 Update 2.5 will add two quests, a dual-wielding perk, console mod support, and other features. The claims were shared in a post on r/GamingLeaksAndRumours. CD Projekt Red has not confirmed the leaked additions.

The story content includes a gig called Clampdown, set before Cyberpunk: Edgerunners Season 2, and a side quest called Welcome to Paradise, which takes V on a mysterious tour of Night City. In combat, the Cool-tree perk Double Trouble would let V wield two power pistols or revolvers at once, with several secondary perks branching from it. A new radio station would feature music from both seasons of the anime.

Customization options would include five new Glamdocs in Night City. Each would be a new character with voice lines and animations, and would let players change the appearance of arm and hand cyberware. The leak also lists five clothing sets sold in different districts, hairstyles for V with some options limited by body type, and Photo Mode frames styled after Cyberpunk trading cards. Quadra skins through Twitch Drops are also part of the claims.

Console players would get mod support through mod.io, with Nintendo Switch 2 excluded from the listed platform support. Using a mod would disable Trophies on that save file. The leak also points to a field-of-view slider for the first-person camera, save folders organized by playthrough, and filters for V’s stash. PS5 HDR settings that previously had no effect would be fixed, alongside other bug fixes.

CD Projekt Red has scheduled Update 2.5 for Oct. 22 and a REDstream for Oct. 21. The broadcast is scheduled for 8 a.m. PDT, 9 a.m. MDT, 10 a.m. CDT, and 11 a.m. EDT. Other listed start times are 4 p.m. BST, 5 p.m. CEST, 6 p.m. EEST, and 11 p.m. AWST on Oct. 21, followed by midnight JST and 2 a.m. AEDT on Oct. 22. It will air on YouTube and Twitch.
