Euro Truck Simulator 2’s 1.62 Update Will Add 3 DAF XG+ Editions
The upcoming customization set pairs a Czech anniversary truck with green Emerald and blue Sapphire variants, each with its own exterior details.
Euro Truck Simulator 2’s upcoming 1.62 update will give the DAF XG+ three distinct looks: a royal-orange 30 Years in Czechia edition, a Forest Dawn green Emerald edition, and a Sapphire Blue version. SCS Software says the custom trucks will arrive with the update in its Steam announcement.
The Czech edition marks 30 years with DAF
The 30 Years in Czechia edition celebrates DAF’s 30-year presence in the country with anniversary logos and a traditional royal-orange paint job. Its exterior details include a black air intake grille with painted trim, a matching sunshield, and a choice of black or original roof lights. Drivers can switch between a black DAF badge tied to the engine power configuration and the original silver version. A second black anniversary badge sits below the side XG+ badge.
Exclusive rear wheel covers, black wheel nuts with matching caps, and an illuminated DAF logo round out the exterior. In the cab, anniversary seats have embroidered DAF 30 logos, with black leather or Alcantara accents and orange diamond-pattern stitching. The upper bunk uses Alcantara with a subtle gray pattern inspired by the Czech flag.
Emerald and Sapphire bring different finishes
The Emerald edition pairs its Forest Dawn green paint with a grille featuring painted trim, a colored sunshield, a white DAF logo, and an Emerald side badge. Black side-window trim and a door handle with a painted accent continue the look, while the 4×2 chassis gets a side skirt with matching painted details. Inside, dedicated floor mats and an emerald-inspired diamond pattern on the mattress and upper bunk complement specially designed curtains.
The Sapphire edition goes with Sapphire Blue paint, a black DAF logo, black side-window trim, and a painted side skirt for the 4×2 chassis. Its details are more restrained than the anniversary truck’s, but the color and trim give it a separate identity alongside the Emerald and Czech editions.
