Escape From Tarkov “Thirsty – Echo” Quest Guide
Find Thirsty's Battered diary in the Shoreline Health Resort and extract with it before handing it over.
Thirsty – Echo hinges on getting a quest-only Battered diary out of Shoreline. Finding it is not enough, because you lose the diary if you fail to extract with it.
Requirements and objectives
Therapist gives the quest. Its objectives are to locate information about Thirsty on Shoreline, obtain it in Thirsty’s hideout, and hand it over. The required information is a Battered diary.
Needed equipment
No separate item to bring is specified. The diary is found during the quest, which must be active for it to appear. It is marked found in raid and transfers to your quest item inventory when picked up.
How to complete Thirsty – Echo
- With the quest active, go to the basement of the Health Resort’s west wing on Shoreline. The target room is near the pool.
- Search these diary spawn points in the room:
- On the floor beside the trashcan immediately to your left as you enter.
- Inside the left drawer in the fridge.
- In the red box attached to the blue locker.
- Pick up the Battered diary, then extract with it. After extracting, hand it over to Therapist.
The diary has multiple possible spawns in the room, so check each location if it is not at the first one you search. Failing to extract with it means losing the item.
