Grand Theft Auto V will leave the PlayStation Plus Extra catalog on November 17, two days before Grand Theft Auto VI is scheduled to launch on November 19. PS5 system notifications name November 17 as the expiration date.
The notice points subscribers toward playing GTA V before the sequel arrives and also presents a GTA 6 preorder prompt. Subscribers can dismiss the notification, but the date gives them a clear deadline for accessing the game through Extra.
GTA V is the first game that is leaving the catalogue on Nov 17, right before VI releases.

GTA V has appeared on Extra three times since December 2023. Red Dead Redemption 2 is currently on its third cycle in the catalog, showing that Rockstar games have returned to the service before, though that history does not confirm another run for GTA V.
