Grand Theft Auto V will leave the PlayStation Plus Extra catalog on November 17, two days before Grand Theft Auto VI is scheduled to launch on November 19. A PlayStation Plus promotional message confirms that both Extra and Premium members can access GTA V through the same date.
PS5 system notifications also name November 17 as the Extra catalog expiration date. They encourage subscribers to play before the sequel arrives and include a GTA 6 preorder prompt. Subscribers can dismiss the notice, but the date gives them a clear deadline for accessing GTA V through the catalog.
GTA V is the first game that is leaving the catalogue on Nov 17, right before VI releases.

The October 12 promotional message casts Los Santos as a stop before Vice City, pairing Franklin, Michael, and Trevor’s story with Jason and Lucia’s upcoming adventure. It offers subscribers a chance to revisit GTA V while they wait for the sequel.
GTA V has appeared in Extra three times since December 2023. Red Dead Redemption 2 is currently on its third cycle in the catalog, showing that Rockstar games have returned to the service before, though that history does not confirm another run for GTA V.
Does the November 17 cutoff leave you enough time to revisit Los Santos before GTA 6 arrives? Follow the countdown to GTA VI and updates to the PlayStation Plus catalog on X, Bluesky, YouTube, Instagram, Steam, and Telegram.
