GTA 6 Leak Claims to Show First-Person Play and Deeper Car Tuning

The 25-minute batch reportedly includes first-person views, street races, a dirt-bike event, and deeper car tuning, but it does not confirm a finished-game mode.

A new, unverified Grand Theft Auto VI leak claims to show first-person views for walking and driving, alongside car tuning that goes beyond cosmetic changes. The footage is not confirmation that these features will appear in the finished game.

An August creator preview had suggested GTA 6 would not include first-person play, putting the new clips in apparent conflict with that expectation. In one driving sequence, Jason’s hands are visible on the steering wheel. Another keeps the camera in first person as he walks outside the car.

The footage does not establish whether players will have access to the perspective in the final game, whether it is a development view, or whether the camera was manipulated. Grand Theft Auto V and Red Dead Redemption 2 both had full first-person modes, but that precedent does not confirm one for the sequel.

TexFunz2 estimates the clip runs for 25 minutes, and a GoFile upload is circulating. A Reddit post describes the file as a 370MB ZIP, unlike Cyberleek’s usual MP4 uploads, and warns it may contain malware. The post does not confirm malware was found, so avoid downloading or extracting an unverified archive.

A tank appears beside a waterfall in one sequence, which could point to access to developer tools, though the scene alone does not establish the uploader’s level of access. Jason is shown nude at Mount Kalaga, while cutscenes reportedly show him fully nude and Lucia topless in a thong. A nighttime base-jump sequence resembles a shot from the Extended Look, with Lucia’s ankle monitor still visible.

Jason changes into a tank top and shorts, and both protagonists are shown with tattoos. A Thrillbilly Mudclub introduction leads into a dirt-bike race, where Jason rides a Maibatsu Sanchez that can be rented for $250.

Late-night street races offer a closer look at car customization. The Annis ’90 Elegy has “Pro Builds,” described as pre-tuned options, alongside cosmetic and performance choices. Performance tuning reportedly covers the engine, intake, induction, transmission, and nitrous, with three upgrades in each category. Its displayed stats include speed, acceleration, asphalt handling, off-road handling, and strength.

One race appears to belong to the “Hit N Run VC” series and runs from Salton to Waning Sands.

Rockstar addressed unauthorized GTA 6 clips before its August 27 Extended Look, after earlier footage had circulated for more than a week. Rockstar’s response to those earlier leaks provides context for the latest footage.
