Company of Heroes 3 Update 3.0 Will Add 5 Maps and 3-Player Final Stand
The November 5, 2026, update will also rework multiplayer and the Italian campaign.

Company of Heroes 3‘s 20th Anniversary Update will arrive November 5, 2026. Relic calls version 3.0 the biggest update since the game launched, with changes spanning visuals, sound, combat, the Italian campaign, and Final Stand.
The 3.0 update appeared on the Company of Heroes anniversary roadmap as a late-2026 release. Relic has now confirmed the date and outlined the changes in its Steam announcement.
New battlefields, weather, and sound
The visual overhaul brings snow and rain, stronger fog and atmospheric effects, improved soldier lighting, dynamic terrain wetness, animation updates, and expanded environmental art. New industrial, winter, and autumn battlefields join grittier effects for explosions and flamethrowers.
Weapon fire, impacts, explosions, and vehicle destruction will get audio improvements. The soundtrack will also expand with classic tracks from Company of Heroes and Company of Heroes 2.
Five new maps are coming. Vire River Valley supports 2v2 skirmish, co-op, and custom games. Ancona Railyard is a 1v1 map, Foggia Airfield is 3v3, and Turin Steelworks and Radarstation Mammut are 4v4 maps, all available for every mode. Langres Winter (1v1), Mignano Summit (3v3), and Rapido River Crossing (4v4) will receive visual refreshes.
Four premium cosmetic sets will be available: Climb to Glory for US Forces, Edelweiss for Wehrmacht, Bloody Baltic for British Forces, and Cold Snap for Deutsches Afrikakorps. The update also adds an Industrial Victory Point.
Multiplayer and campaign systems get a rework
Multiplayer changes include a major economy rework, artillery balance adjustments, changes intended to curb massed vehicles, and a stronger emphasis on positioning. One Battlegroup has been reworked, with smaller changes to several others. The AI will better assess combat, choose units to build in the late game, and decide when to fight or retreat. Matchmaking will also evaluate potential games differently, while UI updates include revised status decorators and unit health bars with a new healing animation.
The Italian campaign will receive changes to its map and missions, along with visual updates. Its resources will have clearer roles: Manpower builds units, Munitions funds abilities, and Fuel pays for upgrades. Liberated towns will offer exclusive upgrade choices, with stronger options later in the campaign. Enemy attack waves will also be more reliable and harder to handle.
Final Stand adds a 3-player mode
Company of Heroes 3: Final Stand will receive a major update on November 5. A new three-player mode will work across all Battlegrounds, with difficulty scaling to the team. The update also adds Dam Busters, a Battleground with a mechanic that makes combat advantages ebb and flow, plus 13 player units, 14 abilities, 35 passive technologies, and eight enemy units. All four factions will receive balance changes.
