Space Marine 2 Roadmap Plans an Apothecary Class for February 2027

Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2‘s Year 3 roadmap places the Apothecary class and a new Operation in Patch 17, planned for February 2027. Anniversary Update II is live now, and the schedule lays out four more patches through July 2027. The August Community Update had already outlined Patch 15’s upcoming Chaos Siege Mode, Crucible, Tactical rework, and One-Handed Thunder Hammer, while saying the full Year 3 roadmap would follow.

The roadmap was unveiled with the September Community Update. The Steam announcement for Anniversary Update II also shows the planned content for each upcoming patch.

Planned updates from Patch 16 to Patch 19

• Patch 16, December 2026: A new PvP mode, new Eternal War maps, a Vanguard rework, four Heroic weapons, and three Heroic armor pieces.
• Patch 17, February 2027: The Apothecary class, a new Operation, an Assault Bolt Pistol, three Heroic weapons, and three Heroic armor pieces.
• Patch 18, May 2027: A new Operation, new Relic Wargear, a Prestige rework, three Heroic weapons, and three Heroic armor pieces.
• Patch 19, July 2027: A Two-Handed Power Sword, a new Operation, three Heroic weapons, and three Heroic armor pieces.

Patch 15, which launched as Anniversary Update II, brings Chaos Space Marines into PvE Siege for the first time, adds two Siege sectors on Avarax, and introduces Crucible challenges built around player-selected Penances. The One-Handed Hammer is also available to Tactical, Assault, Bulwark, and Techmarine. The Patch 15 breakdown has the full list of additions and balance changes.

Season Pass 3 begins with the Space Wolves Champion Pack, which adds a Wolf Guard Champion skin for Bulwark, a Space Wolves shield, and a unique One-Handed Hammer. It is paired with the Exorcists Cosmetic Pack, themed around the Imperium’s daemon hunters.
