Albion Online’s October Harvest Challenge Will Offer a Spectral Bat

Gathering, fishing, farming, and monster hunts will earn points toward the mount, a skeleton-themed avatar border, and weekly chests.

Albion Online’s October Harvest Challenge will give players a chance to earn the Spectral Bat, a mount with a spell that can move it to a target location. Sandbox Interactive outlined the event in its Steam announcement. The Spectral Bat cannot pass over obstacles or gaps, like other mounts.

Players will earn Challenge Points by gathering, fishing, farming, and defeating monsters. Those points fill daily, weekly, and monthly progress bars, following the same activity loop as September’s Adventurer’s Challenge.

Reaching the weekly point totals will unlock Harvest Challenge Chests throughout October. They can contain Adventurer’s Tomes, Silver, resources, and other loot, along with a chance to obtain six seasonal furnishings: the Scary Pumpkin Lantern, Friendly Pumpkin Lantern, Halloween Lantern, Halloween Cauldron, Halloween Scarecrow, and Halloween Pyre.

The monthly reward is the Harvest Challenge Avatar Ring, which features a pair of grinning skeletons. It is non-tradable and permanently unlocks the avatar border for one character, though players can exchange it with the Vanity Merchant for one Vanity Token.

Premium is required to claim the monthly rewards, including the Spectral Bat and Avatar Ring, as well as the weekly chests. Players without Premium can still earn progress on every track and claim the daily rewards: 10 Learning Points and a Tier 4 Tome of Insight. Any progress they make will remain available if they activate Premium later.

Albion Online is a free-to-play sandbox MMORPG set in a medieval fantasy world inspired by Arthurian legends.
