Albion Online’s September Challenge Will Reward Players With a Cannon-Firing Mule
Players can earn Challenge Points through open-world activities, unlock weekly chests, and work toward the Heretic Challenge Avatar Ring.

Albion Online’s September Adventurer’s Challenge will give players a chance to earn the Heretic Combat Mule, a cannon-firing mount with enough recoil to make every shot feel like a questionable decision. Challenge Points will come from familiar open-world activities, including gathering, fishing, farming, and defeating monsters.
Sandbox Interactive outlined the event in its Steam announcement. The challenge will run throughout September, with daily, weekly, and monthly progress bars tracking the points earned from each activity.
The Heretic rewards include a combat mule and avatar ring
The main monthly reward will be the Heretic Combat Mule, a war machine built by Heretic saddlers. Its cannon can knock back and slow targets, although the mount’s heavy recoil gives enemies a chance to enjoy the joke too.
Players who collect enough total Challenge Points will also earn the Heretic Challenge Avatar Ring. The non-tradable item permanently unlocks a Heretic-themed avatar border for one character. It can also be exchanged with the Vanity Merchant for one Adventurer’s Token.
Weekly goals will unlock Heretic Challenge Chests throughout the month. These can contain Adventurer’s Tomes, Silver, resources, and chances at themed furniture such as the Heretic Lantern, Heretic Junkpile, and Heretic Scarecrow.
How the Adventurer’s Challenge works
Challenge Points fill the event’s daily, weekly, and monthly reward tracks. To check progress, players can open the Adventurer’s Challenge interface from the Activities menu.
Premium is required to claim the monthly rewards, including the Avatar Ring and mount, as well as the weekly Challenge Chests. Players without Premium can still make progress across every track and claim the daily rewards, which include 10 Learning Points and a Tier 4 Tome of Insight.
Progress earned before activating Premium will remain available, so players who upgrade later can still claim the rewards they have already worked toward.
