Xbox will bring 38 games to its schedule between September 28 and October 2. The week includes the Game Pass launch of Minecraft Dungeons II, a free upgrade for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt owners, the Premium Edition of Gears of War: E-Day, and the October 2 launch of Ace Combat 8: Wings of Theve. Microsoft notes that the dates can change.
Several smaller releases fill out the schedule, covering baseball, hunting, transport management, hidden-object puzzles, local co-op, arcade action, and more. Here is what will arrive each day.
September 28 starts with 9 Xbox releases
- Minecraft Dungeons II will be available through Game Pass and Xbox Play Anywhere. The action RPG sends players through unfamiliar regions across two worlds, with swordplay and battles against large groups of mobs.
- Gothic II Complete Classic combines Gothic II with the Night of the Raven expansion, returning players to the Valley of Mines and the city of Khorinis.
- Backyard Baseball brings back the series with new modes, unlockables, and achievements through Xbox Play Anywhere.
- Way of the Hunter 2 takes players into North American wilderness areas populated by moose, elk, bears, bison, rabbits, turkeys, and other animals.
- Keep Driving is a management RPG about life on the road. Players can pick up hitchhikers, work odd jobs, repair and customize a car, and plan routes across the country.
- Blades & Battles mixes arcade combat with an Arthurian fantasy setting, huge bosses, solo play, and local co-op.
- Lost in Loss follows a detective helping people recover their identities through hand-drawn locations and hidden-object puzzles.
- Sneak Cheese turns a tiny mouse into a puzzle solver who must push cheese into burrows while avoiding hungry cats.
- Transport Fever 3 lets players build and manage transport networks across land, sea, and sky, with vehicles spanning more than a century of technology.
September 29 brings a Witcher upgrade and suburban chaos
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Remastered will arrive as a free upgrade for existing owners. The release includes visual, gameplay, and progression improvements, as well as Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine. Xbox Play Anywhere support is also listed. NEIGHBORS: Suburban Warfare will turn lawn disputes into a multiplayer party brawler. Teams can defend their homes with improvised weapons such as frying pans and slingshots while damaging their opponents’ properties.
September 30 adds 4 smaller releases
- Cat Lines asks players to guide a kitten and cover every block in each stage with a trail of yarn.
- King’s Blade is a fantasy beat ’em up where players lead royal warriors against the Barganian Empire.
- Mia’s Journey follows a girl transformed into a cat by a curse as she works through puzzles, magic, and other mysteries.
- The Vorlec is a third-person action platformer set across dangerous RetroWave-inspired dimensions, with enemies, puzzles, platforming sections, and bosses.
October 1 is the busiest release day
Gears of War: E-Day Premium Edition is scheduled for October 1, ahead of the standard October 6 launch. It will include the Emergence Day campaign starring Marcus Fenix and Dominic Santiago, along with the Horde Siege PvE mode and Versus PvP. Xbox Play Anywhere support is listed for the Premium Edition.
- DYNASTY WARRIORS 3: Complete Edition Remastered combines DYNASTY WARRIORS 3 and DYNASTY WARRIORS 3: Xtreme Legends, with more than 40 officers and battles built around one-versus-1,000 action.
- End of Abyss casts players as Cel, a combat technician investigating a damaged underground compound filled with hostile creatures.
- Ultimate Admiral: Dreadnoughts focuses on designing warships and fighting naval battles across technology eras from 1890 to 1950. Ten nations are included, along with Xbox Play Anywhere support.
- Chronicles Of Albian: The Magic Convention uses hidden-object puzzles as players repair and improve a castle hosting a gathering of wizards and sorcerers.
- Mirrors of Deception: The Poisoned Legacy sends Agatha Hastings into a murder investigation at the Thompson estate, with 140 hidden-object levels and 20 bonus puzzles.
- PUCKOFF: RELOADED brings its no-rules hockey to Xbox after previously appearing on PC. Players build a team and face colorful opponents around the world through Xbox Play Anywhere.
- Storebound is a co-op puzzle horror game with a six-episode campaign set inside a cursed megastore. The campaign is expected to take 5 to 7 hours.
- Weekend Solitaire: Summer Village offers card layouts across several difficulty levels in a bright summer setting.
- myPOPGOES is a resource management game about caring for a needy weasel named Popgoes, with extra minigames and Xbox Play Anywhere support.
- Folletti is a dark humor action RPG about Yezac Folletti’s attempt to rescue his kidnapped wife while fighting enemies and crafting equipment.
- MXGP 26 – The Official Game features the official MXGP and MX2 categories across all 19 tracks from the season.
- RetroSpace follows a janitor trying to survive on a space station consumed by a sentient black hole, with stealth and combat options.
- TOYCRAFTER puts players back in a workshop where they can build toys with dolls and tools.
- Wax Museum: Hidden Objects traps players inside an abandoned museum after a storm and car accident, with hidden objects and puzzles to solve. Xbox Play Anywhere support is included.
October 2 closes the week with 8 games
- Ace Combat 8: Wings of Theve will launch on October 2, while Deluxe Edition pre-orders can begin playing on September 28. The game focuses on aerial combat missions and dogfights.
- Aetherfall is a platformer built around floating platforms, moving obstacles, collectibles, and environmental puzzles.
- Aery – Calm Horizon 2 offers a relaxed flight through scenic areas as players collect magical crystals as a small bird.
- Agefield High: Rock the School is a coming-of-age adventure set in the early 2000s, where friendships, romance, and rebellion shape life before graduation.
- KAWAII PUSH is a Sokoban-style puzzle game about pushing boxes into their correct positions across colorful anime-inspired stages.
- Mister Scary – Where Are You? follows a purple monster searching for his missing family in a Halloween-themed world.
- Monster Nursery lets players hatch, raise, and sell monsters while working toward 200 entries in the monster handbook.
- Stone Run is a hand-drawn arcade game about outrunning a giant rolling stone, dodging obstacles, and surviving without looking back.
