Gears of War: E-Day Early Access went live worldwide on October 1 at 8:00 a.m. PT / 15:00 UTC for Premium Edition players and Game Pass subscribers with the Premium Edition Upgrade. The Coalition marked the start with a launch gameplay trailer featuring Metallica’s “For Whom the Bell Tolls,” as noted in its October 1 announcement.
The full game will launch worldwide on October 6 at 8:00 a.m. PT / 15:00 UTC. Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass subscribers need the $30 Premium Edition Upgrade to play during Early Access, while both plans include the Standard Edition on launch day.
Gears of War: E-Day is available on Xbox Series X|S, Windows PC, and Steam. Cloud gaming is available through Game Pass Ultimate and GeForce NOW. The Coalition also tied the game’s inclusion in the Disc to Digital program to the Early Access launch.
