Rainbow Six Siege Y11S3.1 Notes Detail Operator Tweaks and Horus Lance Fixes
Buck, Castle, Fenrir, Maestro, Thermite, and Sledge receive targeted changes, while the M1014 and SPAS-15 gain damage increases.

Rainbow Six Siege’s Y11S3.1 patch notes point to a precision pass rather than a broad operator overhaul. Buck, Castle, Fenrir, Maestro, Thermite, and Sledge all receive targeted adjustments, while the M1014 and SPAS-15 get damage increases and Noor’s Horus Lance receives a long set of bug fixes.
Ubisoft’s official Y11S3.1 patch notes do not include a rollout time or a statement that the update is live. The changelog is therefore presented as the announced scope of the update, with the biggest changes collected below.
Rainbow Six Siege Y11S3.1 Patch Notes
The refinement section changes ammo, destruction thresholds, gadget timing, and shotgun damage without presenting a full rework for any operator. The bug-fix section then focuses heavily on interactions involving Noor’s Horus Lance, alongside gameplay and user-experience repairs.
REFINEMENT CHANGES
These are small adjustments that don’t aim to alter an Operator’s overall power level or flexibility. Instead, they focus on polishing gameplay details, improving consistency, and enhancing quality-of-life without shifting the meta. Our goal is to maintain a steady stream of these refinements alongside major updates, helping the game evolve and improve at a constant pace.
BUCK
This allows Buck to maintain his presence for longer, enabling more consistent vertical play and extended utility usage throughout the round.
SKELETON KEY
- Total ammo increased to 36 (was 31).
CASTLE
This increases the time and commitment required to clear Castle’s barricades, improving their role in slowing Attacker advances and reinforcing defensive positions.
ARMOR PANEL
- Increased melee hits to destroy the Armor Panel increased to 10 (was 9).
FENRIR
We want to improve the responsiveness of his gadget when triggering zones. This allows Fenrir to influence engagements more quickly, improving his ability to react to Attacker presence and apply pressure in dynamic situations.
F-NATT DREAD MINE
- Reduced the time it takes for gas to reach maximum range to 1.9 seconds (was 2 seconds).
MAESTRO
We aim to improve the consistency of his gadget over time.
EVIL EYE
- Increased the battery life to 9 seconds (was 8 seconds).
THERMITE
This change improves the lethality of Thermite’s charges when activated in contested areas, increasing the risk for Defenders playing close to reinforced surfaces.
EXOTHERMIC CHARGE
- Increased damage to 220 hp (was 200 hp).
SLEDGE
We want to improve Sledge’s responsiveness when using his gadget, allowing him to apply destruction more fluidly.
BREACHING HAMMER
Reduced time to swing Sledge’s Breaching Hammer to 0.8 seconds (was 1 second).
M1014
This buff improves consistency in close-quarters engagements, allowing the M1014 to better fulfill its role without extending its effective range.
BASE STATS
- Increased damage to 30 hp (was 28 hp).
OPERATORS AFFECTED
- Ace
- Castle
- Pulse
- Thermite
SPAS-15
This adjustment increases its effectiveness in close-range fights, making it a more competitive shotgun choice while preserving clear range limitations.
BASE STATS
- Increased damage to 26 hp (was 24 hp).
OPERATORS AFFECTED
- Caveira
- Thunderbird
