Schedule 1 v0.4.7 Open Beta Rebuilds Avatars and Adds Special Customers
Existing saves will convert legacy appearances when loaded in the beta, but those converted appearances will not load properly if players return to the default version.

Schedule 1 v0.4.7 brings a rebuilt avatar system, new special customer groups, another purchasable business, and a long list of quality-of-life changes to its Open Beta. The Steam announcement also carries an important warning for anyone testing the new build with an existing save.
Loading an existing save in the beta automatically converts legacy player appearances to the new format. If players switch back to the default version afterward, any appearances converted by the beta will not load properly. Backing up saves before testing is a sensible precaution, especially while the appearance system is being rebuilt around future user-created cosmetics.
Beyond the technical change, v0.4.7 adds themed groups such as Hippies, Party Bus customers, Businessmen, and Bikers. Their new behaviors include talking on the phone, using laptops, dancing, revving motorcycles, vomiting, and several other activities that should make the city feel less static. Hyland Medical is also available as a purchasable business, with a new interior and adjusted NPC schedules.
The beta adds new clothing, accessories, hairstyles, facial hair, rugs, rubber mats, teleport locations, and the queuecustomergroup command. Business laundering capacities have also increased, while late-game saves should use several hundred fewer megabytes of memory when generating and saving mixed-product icons.
Schedule 1 v0.4.7 Patch Notes
The largest changes in this beta affect player appearances and special customer behavior. The update also adds new business content, improves NPC and physics systems, adjusts laundering capacities, and fixes multiplayer physics, vehicle detection, rendering, and avatar presentation issues.
Please note
The way that player appearances are saved has been changed in this update. Playing an existing save will automatically convert legacy appearances to the new save format. If you switch back to the default version of the game after playing this beta, any appearances that have been converted to the new format will not load properly.
