Dead by Daylight 10.1.2a Will Revert The Judgment’s Divine Light Changes
The hotfix will return the Zealous curve window to 0.6 seconds, remove the non-Zealous curve window, and require a game restart without a new content download.

Dead by Daylight’s 10.1.2a hotfix will pull back the recent Divine Light adjustments for The Judgment. The Zealous curve window will return to 0.6 seconds, while the curve window added for the non-Zealous state will be removed.
Earlier 10.1.2 had raised the Zealous window from 0.6 to 0.8 seconds and added a 0.3-second non-Zealous window in its Divine Light changes. The new hotfix reverses both adjustments.
Behaviour Interactive says in its Steam patch notes that The Judgment’s performance skyrocketed following HF2. Reverting the changes will give the developer a longer period to assess the Killer’s performance.
No new content download will be required for the game update, although players will need to restart Dead by Daylight for the changes to take effect.
Dead by Daylight 10.1.2a Patch Notes
Both gameplay changes affect the amount of steering control available through Divine Light. The full official notes are reproduced below.
- Reverted the Divine Light curve window while Zealous to 0.6s (was 0.8s)
- Reverted the Divine Light curve window when non-Zealous
Dev note: The Judgment’s performance skyrocketed following HF2. We are reverting the changes to Divine Light in order to better evaluate Its performance over a longer period of time.
We are making a game update to address the growing issue around The Judgment. This will not require a download of any new content, however players will need to restart their game.
Do you think restoring the 0.6-second Zealous window will be enough to bring The Judgment back in line, or was removing the non-Zealous curve window the more important change? Share your thoughts in the comments, and follow us on X, Bluesky, YouTube, Instagram, Steam, and Telegram.
