Marvel Rivals Version 20260917 Is Scheduled to Add Moon Knight, Jeff-Pool and X-Men ’97 MVPs

Marvel Rivals Version 20260917 centers on Moon Knight, Jeff-focused events, and the arrival of Rogue and Gambit’s previously missing X-Men ’97 Season 2 MVP items. The update was scheduled to go live on September 17, 2026, at 09:00 UTC without server downtime, and it also adds gifting for PYO Bundles.

The Steam patch announcement schedules the new store content for the same time. Moon Knight receives the Eternity Knight Bundle, Jeff the Land Shark gets a Gwenpool chroma for the Jeff-Pool costume, and eligible players who already owned every item in the corresponding Rogue or Gambit bundle will automatically receive its matching MVP at no extra cost.

Rogue and Gambit’s MVPs also resolve the unfinished part of the September 3 X-Men ’97 content. Their bundles launched without the MVP items, while the September 17 update keeps the bundle prices unchanged.

Jeff leads Marvel Rivals’ October events

Jeff’s Dream Eater runs from September 17, 2026, at 09:00 UTC through October 15 at 09:00 UTC. Completing the event awards Venom’s President Ozzy costume and related bundle content for free. Premium rewards include Rogue’s Slumber Sugah, Jeff the Land Shark’s Shark in Sheep’s Clothing, and more.

Jeff’s Superstar Search sends players to Times Square and Hellfire Bay Beach from September 17 at 09:00 UTC through October 9 at 09:00 UTC. Collecting Stars earns a Spray, Title, and Nameplate. Pop & Win runs a little longer, from September 17 at 09:00 UTC through October 16 at 02:00 UTC, with Jubilee’s Vampy Jammies and Magneto’s Master of Slumber available as discounted Pajama Party costumes.

Outside the events and store, PYO Bundles now support gifting. Gifts use Lattice, and the price adjusts based on the selected cosmetics and the items the recipient already owns. Scarlet Witch also receives a balance adjustment that reduces the chance of becoming immune to incoming damage during the wind-up for Reality Erasure.

Gameplay fixes address Clone Rumble team-up switching for Deadpool, while other fixes cover Jeff’s Ducky Dip emote, Peni Parker’s Liquid Shell costume, Doctor Strange’s Astral Arcana costume, and Emma Frost’s Glittering Goddess costume.

Relying on his unique radar sense, Daredevil stayed behind in Jeff’s dream, carefully collecting our favorite shark’s scattered, whimsical thoughts. He’s attempting to track down the source of the nightmare hiding deep within Jeff’s subconscious.

Balance Adjustments

Significantly reduced the probability of the Scarlet Witch being immune to incoming damage during Reality Erasure (Ultimate Ability) wind up.

• Deadpool’s Clone Conundrum: Fixed an issue in Clone Rumble where players were unable to switch Team-Ups when randomized as Deadpool. Wade got a little too attached, but we’ve untangled the Merc with a Mouth so he can swap his besties at will!

• Jeff’s Ducky Dip Details: Fixed a missing texture issue with Jeff the Land Shark’s Ducky Dip emote. Our favorite land shark’s bath time is back to being picture-perfect. Splish splash, Jeff!
• Peni Parker’s Portrait Polish: Fixed a visual inconsistency between the physical eye models and the 2D portrait artwork for Peni Parker’s Liquid Shell costume. The SP//dr suit’s optic sensors are fully synced, and Peni’s looking sharply aligned in every dimension!
• Doctor Strange’s Astral Smile: Fixed a teeth texture display issue on Doctor Strange’s Astral Arcana costume. The Sorcerer Supreme shouldn’t have to battle multiversal dental issues; his mystic grin is now totally flawless. By the Hoary Hosts of Hoggoth!
• Emma Frost’s Telepathic Tunes: Fixed an issue where the sound effects for Emma’s Psychic Spear ability would sometimes play incorrectly while she was wearing her Glittering Goddess costume. The White Queen demands absolute perfection, and her psychic broadcasts are now perfectly clear.
