War Thunder’s Battle of Britain Day Event Offers a Decal and 50% Off an RAF Bundle

The event also puts 2 themed Spitfires and a discounted Hurricane in the British premium vehicle menu through September 18.

War Thunder‘s Battle of Britain Day event is live from September 15 at 11:00 GMT, giving players until September 18 at 11:00 GMT to earn the “Battle of Britain 2026” decal and pick up themed British aircraft. The event also includes a 50% discount on a PC bundle built around 3 RAF fighters, as detailed in Gaijin Entertainment’s Steam announcement.

Three British aircraft are available through September 18

Players can find the limited-time aircraft under Great Britain > Aviation > Premium vehicles. Ioannis Plagis’s Spitfire LF Mk.IXc and James Prendergast’s Spitfire FR Mk.XIVe are both Rank IV aircraft priced at 6,090 Golden Eagles.

  • Ioannis Plagis’s Spitfire LF Mk.IXc: The fighter carries 2 20 mm cannons and 4 7.7 mm machine guns, with a flight model suited to both turning engagements and boom-and-zoom attacks.
  • James Prendergast’s Spitfire FR Mk.XIVe: Its Griffon engine powers a Rank IV fighter armed with 2 20 mm cannons and 2 12.7 mm machine guns. A 500 lb bomb is also available for ground attacks.
  • Hurricane Mk.I/L FAA M: The Rank II aircraft costs 680 Golden Eagles after a 20% discount. Its Fleet Air Arm training camouflage sets it apart from the standard Hurricane Mk.I/L, while 8 7.7 mm Browning machine guns handle the armament.

The Battle of Britain 2026 bundle is half price on PC

PC players can purchase the “The Battle of Britain 2026” bundle for 37.49 instead of 74.97. It includes the John Plagis’ Spitfire LF Mk. IX Pack, Prendergast’s Spitfire FR Mk.XIVe Pack, and Typhoon Pack. Steam players can reach the Gaijin Store from the in-game hangar by opening Shop > Online Store.

How to earn the Battle of Britain 2026 decal

The decal task requires 3,000 mission points in battles where players use a British aircraft at Rank III or higher. Random battles count, except for Assault mode, and the reward must be collected manually after the task is complete.

Progress can be tracked in the hangar through Nickname > Achievements > Holidays > Battle of Britain Day. Once earned, the decal appears in the Holidays tab of the customization menu.

Battle of Britain Day commemorates the September 15, 1940 air battle that helped Great Britain deny Germany air superiority and abandon plans for an invasion of the island. Which aircraft or bundle offer fits your hangar best? Follow us on X, Bluesky, YouTube, Instagram, Steam, and Telegram.
