Conan Exiles’ Legacy of the Giant-Kings Part Two Will Open Rift Arenas on October 6

The chapter will add four sorcery spells, Mi-Go enemies, and a mini world boss across the Exiled Lands and Isle of Siptah.

Conan Exiles will continue its Legacy of the Giant-Kings story arc on October 6 with a second chapter built around mysterious rifts, hostile arenas, new sorcery, and the return of the Mi-Go. Funcom shared the details in its Steam announcement.

Part Two follows the events surrounding Akhamet and the Cyclopean Halls from the opening chapter. Players who have not yet caught up can find more context in the first chapter’s expedition beneath the Unnamed City, which introduced the latest stage of the four-part story arc.

Rifts will lead into hostile arenas

Starting October 6, strange tears will begin appearing across the Exiled Lands and the Isle of Siptah. The rifts will show up inside existing enemy camps, giving players a new reason to revisit familiar locations before stepping through each breach into an arena beyond reality.

Every arena will offer a choice of challenges, along with materials and rewards for players who survive the forces waiting on the other side. The announcement does not name the individual encounters, so the risks behind each rift will need to be discovered in-game.

Four spells expand Conan Exiles’ sorcery

Rift materials will unlock four new spells and help players upgrade a new tome. The additions cover several combat roles, including a defensive ward, battlefield control tied to the Void, corrupting magic, and a spell designed for faster casting.

That gives sorcery-focused builds more ways to respond to a fight. Players can use the new options to hold their ground, hinder enemies, spread corruption, or prepare magic for moments when a quick cast is the difference between escaping and becoming part of the scenery.

Mi-Go will return with a mini world boss

The rifts will also draw the Mi-Go back into the Exiled Lands. Their return will include regular Mi-Go enemies and a formidable Mi-Go mini world boss, with themed rewards waiting for players who defeat them.

Successful hunters may also be able to bring a Mi-Go thrall or pet back to their settlement. Funcom has not detailed the full reward pool yet, but the return of the otherworldly faction gives Part Two another threat beyond the arena encounters.

Legacy of the Giant-Kings Part Two will arrive on October 6, adding another layer to the story across both Conan Exiles maps. Share your thoughts in the comments, and follow us on X, Bluesky, YouTube, Instagram, Steam, and Telegram.
