First-Come, First-Served Registration for Pokémon GO Wild Area: Sendai • Tohoku Will Open Sept. 11

Trainers can register for free from 8:00 a.m. JST on Sept. 11 through 7:59 a.m. JST on Sept. 15, with selected registrants receiving a dedicated purchase window for up to four tickets.

Pokémon GO Wild Area: Sendai • Tohoku will use a first-come, first-served registration process when ticket interest opens Sept. 11, 2026. Trainers can enter the process for free, but tickets are limited and registration alone will not guarantee availability. The details appear in Pokémon GO’s official ticketing update.

Registration will begin at 8:00 a.m. JST on Sept. 11 through the In-Person Tickets page and will remain open until 7:59 a.m. JST on Sept. 15. Trainers will not be charged when they register their interest.

How Sendai registration will work

After the registration window closes, entries will be processed in the order they were received. Trainers whose registrations are successfully reserved will receive an in-game News notification and a dedicated window to enter the ticketing portal and complete their purchase.

A notification will guarantee a ticket during that purchase window, but it will not guarantee a specific event date. Each order can contain a maximum of four tickets. Add-ons, including Extra Day add-ons, can be added at any time after the ticket purchase is completed.

The special registration process applies only to Pokémon GO Wild Area: Sendai • Tohoku. Ticketing for the global and Mexico City Wild Area events is not affected by the change and will go on sale to all Trainers soon.

The two in-person city events are scheduled for Nov. 6 through Nov. 8, 2026, in Sendai and Mexico City, followed by Pokémon GO Wild Area: Global on Nov. 14 and Nov. 15. The 2026 Wild Area schedule includes the dates and locations for each event.
