Fellowship Targets September 17 Patch as Rewards Rework and Dungeon Reset Vote Take Shape
Chief Rebel is adding developer-led feedback threads and will hold a Roundtable on September 16 before publishing the patch notes.

Fellowship’s next patch is targeted for September 17, while two player-facing systems are moving from internal development toward testing: a reworked Rewards tree and a Vote to Reset feature for dungeons. Neither feature is confirmed for that patch, but both are now part of Chief Rebel’s work toward Fellowship 1.0.
Chief Rebel outlined the plans in its latest Campfire Checkpoint, which also expands how the team wants to gather feedback. The direction matches the broader Fellowship 1.0 plans, where matchmaking, progression, crafting, onboarding, seasonal structure and general polish take priority over adding more Heroes or another Pinnacle Dungeon.
Developer feedback threads will target specific 1.0 questions
Chief Rebel developers will be able to open their own Discord threads when they need player opinions on a specific design question or hypothetical. The team said a recent discussion received useful responses as well as skepticism because it appeared in the wrong context, so the new approach is meant to place focused requests where more players can respond.
Players can take part through the Developer Discussion Forum. These conversations are intended to gather actionable feedback for Fellowship 1.0, although they are not promises that every suggestion will become a feature.
The Rewards tree is being rebuilt around performance
Fellowship’s Rewards tree has caused performance problems, and developer Calle is working on a rework that should improve both usability and performance. The team plans to put the new version in front of players before making a final judgment, with feedback on how the interface feels and whether the game runs better serving as part of that test.

Dungeon restart voting is working in internal builds
A separate Vote to Reset feature already has an initial implementation in internal builds. It is designed to let a party vote on restarting a dungeon, with the team watching not only whether the basic function works but also whether it changes player behavior by reducing the need to abandon a party and return to the Stronghold.
Chief Rebel has not given the feature a release date. The work-in-progress interface shows a restart vote with options to restart or stay, but the team still wants to test how groups use it before bringing it into the game.

Seasonal dungeons and crafting are still under review
The extra Q&A also touched on changes that could affect Fellowship’s longer-term progression. Chief Rebel is considering new enemy placements each season and may change which monsters appear in particular dungeons, following the positive response to the EAS3 placement changes.
Crafting is another area under review. The team wants to reduce the amount of randomness by making results more deterministic, but it is stopping short of giving players an exact outcome selector for every gear customization.
Healer balance is headed toward clearer roles as well. The stated goal is for Aeona, Sylvie and Vigour to have different healing niches instead of allowing the healer with the highest damage output to become the automatic best choice. League progression is also being examined, with advanced mechanics introduced gradually so players can learn the game without being overwhelmed.
Fellowship’s update cadence will remain flexible
Not every 1.0 feature needs public testing right away. Chief Rebel is also working on behind-the-scenes changes to how patch content is delivered and how dungeon logic communicates with the server, including a possible way to reset a dungeon without resetting the server itself.
Because some features need weeks of internal development and testing, the team does not plan to return to weekly updates, and the cadence may not even be every two weeks. Features that can provide useful player feedback will still be released when they are ready, rather than being published as unfinished work that the developers already know will not answer their questions.
September’s Roundtable comes before the next patch
Chief Rebel will stream its next Roundtable on September 16, one day before the targeted September 17 patch. The discussion will cover the patch and the current state of Fellowship 1.0, and players can find the September 16 Roundtable event through Discord.
The team plans to share the patch’s fixes and changes in the days before release. Future Q&A segments will also give players more time to submit questions, allow developers to prepare fuller answers and make it clearer whose questions are being addressed.
