Mafia: The Old Country’s First Anniversary Spotlights Community Photo Mode Creations

The Family Business feature also remembers Mafia II's Aug. 23, 2010 launch and points players to the available Mafia: The Omertà Collection.

The first anniversary of Mafia: The Old Country is the focus of a fresh community spotlight, with Photo Mode images and fan art centered on Valle Dorata and Ennio Salieri. The latest Steam announcement gathers work from virtual photographers and fans as part of the fifth Mafia Family Business feature.

Virtual photographers contributed quiet landscapes, character portraits, and period vehicles captured in Photo Mode. The selection moves from wide views of the countryside to closer looks at the people who anchor the story, while separate fan-art pieces keep Ennio Salieri connected to the Man of Honor celebration.

Alongside the artwork, Game Director Alex Cox shared an anniversary message on behalf of the Hangar 13 development team. The feature also looks back at Mafia: The Old Country‘s Aug. 7, 2025 launch and thanks players who joined the series recently or have followed it across earlier entries.

Mafia II receives its own anniversary mention. The second game launched Aug. 23, 2010, marking 16 years of the series’ crime saga by the time of the feature. That connects the newest story to one of the franchise’s older chapters.

Man of Honor and the full collection

The feature follows the Aug. 14, 2026 release of the Man of Honor expansion, which added two story chapters. The expansion requires the base game, and some content must be unlocked through gameplay.
