EMPULSE Devs Will Host a Matchmaking Sendoff Before the P2P Server Switch
The session is scheduled for 5:00 p.m. PT on September 1, ahead of EMPULSE's move to peer-to-peer hosting and a server browser on September 3.

1047 Games will host a developer-led matchmaking sendoff in EMPULSE at 5:00 p.m. PT on September 1, shortly before the arena shooter leaves its current server setup later this week.
In its Steam announcement, the team said it would queue into EMPULSE matchmaking and invited players to join voice chat for the session. The event is intended to give the community one last shared matchmaking gathering before the planned server transition.
The gathering comes ahead of a September 3 server transition that will move EMPULSE away from dedicated servers and matchmaking. Peer-to-peer hosting and a server browser will take their place, allowing the game to remain playable after the change.
Players who want to participate should queue for matchmaking at the scheduled time. The developers also asked participants to join voice chat as part of the sendoff, giving the event a more direct connection between the team and the remaining EMPULSE community.
