nopixel V will bring a reworked GTA Roleplay experience to invited players when its closed beta begins on September 8. Rockstar Games announced the project in its Newswire announcement, confirming that access will come through Rockstar Games Launcher.
Access will be limited to invited players, who can enter the new experience through the invited players program. The beta will continue nopixel’s community-driven take on Los Santos, where players create characters, build careers, commit crimes, work with player-run police, and create stories together.
New character tools and locations are coming to Los Santos
nopixel V will give roleplayers more control over their characters with an overhauled creation system designed to better match each character’s appearance and backstory. The experience will also add the Pixel Hotel & Casino and rework six blocks of Cypress Flats.
Refreshed visuals, new ways to make a living on both sides of the law, and more reactive pedestrians will give the city a different rhythm when the beta begins. Los Santos will still be full of crime, odd jobs, and player-created chaos, but there will be more places and systems for those stories to grow.

GTA Online rewards will arrive through Twitch Drops
Watching GTA Roleplay streamers play nopixel V will also offer rewards in GTA Online. From September 8 through September 30, viewers can earn up to GTA$1,500,000 and the Burger Shot Tracksuit through Twitch Drops.

Rockstar Games also teased more updates for nopixel V, including a new PC in-game overlay, upcoming events, and broader access to its GTA Roleplay world. For now, the closed beta’s September 8 start gives invited players the first chance to see what the new version has in store.
