Xbox will have a very busy week from August 31 through September 4, with 43 games scheduled across full releases, Game Pass additions, pre-orders, and early access editions. The lineup ranges from The Blood of Dawnwalker and Avatar Legends: The Fighting Game to cozy puzzles, sports games, horror adventures, and some wonderfully strange ideas. Xbox’s weekly release schedule notes that dates can still change.
Three games are marked for Game Pass. Young Suns and Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault will reach their 1.0 releases, while Shelldiver will bring a laid-back jellyfish-fishing adventure to the service. Here is the full schedule by date.
Games arriving August 31
- Young Suns will receive its 1.0 release with Game Pass support, Smart Delivery, Xbox Play Anywhere, and handheld optimization. This 1 to 4-player life sim takes place on Jupiter, where players can build a home and spend around 1 to 2 hours a day living among the stars.
- Puzzledorf will offer colorful pixel-art puzzles with a gentle opening before the challenges become much tougher. It will support Smart Delivery and Xbox Play Anywhere on Xbox Series X|S.
- Salvation: Echoes of War will send players into a surreal purgatory as a war pilot trapped in a comatose nightmare. Stealth, puzzles, and non-aggressive combat will help uncover the pilot’s past alongside a loyal companion.
- Sticker Picker will turn observation into the main event with colorful spot-the-difference scenes, hidden details, and characters from the Afil Games universe.
Games arriving September 1
- Shelldiver will come to Game Pass with Smart Delivery and Xbox Play Anywhere. Players will help a turtle catch jellyfish, improve their equipment, visit ocean depths, and support the local turtle population between naps.
- Crimson Moon will deliver solo and cooperative action against demons, undead creatures, vampires, and other horrors. Players take the role of a Nephilim who uses supernatural powers, weapons, melee combat, and angelic transformations.
- Tintle’s Great Colorful Adventure will challenge platforming fans with color switching, teleporters, gravity manipulation, and precision-focused levels full of traps.
Games arriving September 2
- The Blood of Dawnwalker will appear as a $69.99 pre-order listing for Xbox Series X|S and Xbox Play Anywhere. Set in 14th-century Europe during the Black Death, the action RPG follows Coen, a young man transformed into a Dawnwalker who must choose between protecting his humanity and using cursed powers to save his family.
- Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault will leave Game Preview for its 1.0 release and join Game Pass. Players will gather relics in dangerous dungeons, sell their finds, improve a struggling village, and expand their own shop in the distant settlement of Tresna.
- Angeline Era will combine 3D action with a strange, secret-filled world. Tets Kinoshta must cross ruins, forests, mountains, mines, and towns to uncover the path to the dormant mothership Throne.
- Eden Coil will put a snake inside a series of top-down puzzles. Apples, blocked routes, multiple snakes, and sleeping creatures will all become part of the solution as new rules appear.
- Feed Your Cat: New Paths will offer 60 relaxing puzzles about drawing routes across node grids to deliver food to a hungry kitten. It will include 2 visual themes, 5 languages, and mouse, keyboard, and gamepad support through Xbox Play Anywhere.
- Marsupilami 2: Salsa Palombia will send the Marsupials against the Mummy Queen after a cursed melody makes the animals of Palombia dance uncontrollably.
- Pharmacy Store Simulator will put players behind every part of a drugstore operation, from checking prescriptions and organizing inventory to handling the cashier, accounting, management, and health consultation work.
- Radiation Caterpillar will ask players to grow an alien caterpillar by collecting radioactive elements. Getting larger will make movement harder, turning each level into a careful balancing act.
- Super Woden Rally Edge will bring arcade rally racing with a technical edge, a large car culture focus, and Smart Delivery and Xbox Play Anywhere support.
Games arriving September 3
- Avatar Legends: The Fighting Game will feature 12 playable characters and modes including Offline and Online Versus, Story, Arcade, Training, Spectator, and an Art Gallery. Its hand-drawn 2D presentation will draw from the animated series.
- NBA 2K27 will bring back MyCAREER, MyTEAM, MyNBA, The City, Crew, The REC, and Park on Xbox Series X|S. Pre-ordering the Standard Edition will include 10,000 Virtual Currency.
- Onimusha: Way of the Sword will take players to Edo-period Kyoto, where a samurai wielding the mystical Oni Gauntlet must battle Genma monsters through a dark fantasy story.
- Asdivine Knot will deliver a turn-based JRPG with a shared Nexus Gauge, Nexus Skills, customizable airship travel, equipment crafting, side quests, fishing, crew recruitment, and puzzle dungeons.
- Brainrot Kart will support multiplayer races for up to 8 players across bizarre tracks such as The Backrooms. Outlandish power-ups will let racers interfere with one another while fighting for first place.
- Bus Simulator 27 Year 1 Edition will include the main game and its Year 1 Season Pass. The package promises more than 45 officially licensed buses from 13 manufacturers, including rigid, articulated, double-decker, electric, and coach buses.
- Dexter Stardust: Adventures in Outer Space will follow the taco-loving Dexter and his friend Aurora through a point-and-click mystery involving Planet X, the Vreesians, and a mechanical messenger.
- Dream Doctor will cast players as a psychologist who enters patients’ dreams with a magical key. Nightmares contain enemies, bosses, and sentimental items that can become equipment with new abilities.
- Fight School Simulator will let players create a martial arts school, arrange its training areas, recruit students, and compete with rival schools.
- Galactic Vault will mix movement-shooter action with roguelike progression. Weapons can be assembled from gun upgrades, underbarrel launchers, and movement abilities while players battle corporate defenses and an expanding infestation.
- Hearthstorm will focus on placing the correct army units in the correct lanes at the right moment. Timing is the whole battle plan here.
- Komorebi: A Furry Visual Novel will tell a fully voiced story set in a dystopian 2041. After moving to Toronto, players will form friendships and romances while facing social unrest and moral choices.
- SpeedRunners 2: King of Speed will continue the fast multiplayer platform racing formula with high-definition visuals and improved netcode while keeping its movement system easy to pick up.
- Shoe it All! will turn a swinging teenager and a pile of shoes into the ingredients for physics puzzles. Players will fling footwear through destructible stages, trigger chain reactions, and uncover bonus levels.
Games arriving September 4
- NHL 27 Deluxe Edition will provide 7 days of early access on Xbox Series X|S. The game will feature all 32 NHL arenas with team-specific goal songs, pregame introductions, and revamped crowds.
- Halloween Digital Deluxe Edition will begin its early access period on September 4. Players can take control of Michael Myers or play as a Hero of Haddonfield in an asymmetrical horror game set during Halloween night in 1978. The full release is scheduled for September 8, with the Halloween early access schedule covering the 4-day head start.
- Dream Cage will draw from accounts of sleep paralysis in a horror game about surviving 5 nights. Players must remain silent while facing a different entity each night and searching for the source of Robert’s nightmares.
- Fear The Timeloop will trap a wounded investigator in a 15-minute time loop. Every death brings back the memories of the previous attempt, giving players a chance to adapt while pursuing a serial killer.
- Flute Of Gobelin will turn a legendary flutist into the star of a reverse bullet hell. Hypnotize goblins, assemble a squad, and survive waves of humans hunting you down.
- Fortress Merge will combine merging with tower defense. Players can strengthen buildings, train knights and other troops, and prepare defenses against skeletons, slimes, dragons, giants, and bosses.
- Hockey Beasts will support local matches for up to 4 players and online games for up to 6. Animal teams will differ in speed, strength, reach, and playing style.
- I Am Angel will follow a former police officer who leaves Heaven to stop a betrayer’s apocalyptic plan. Seven archangels, celestial weapons, angelic abilities, and the sword of Archangel Michael will fuel the action.
- Isle of Reveries will star an owl named Lief on a pilgrimage to a mysterious island. Seven dungeons, anthropomorphic characters, and a fairy companion who can duplicate objects will drive the retro-inspired adventure.
- Moonbringer will send an auto-firing ship through 3 worlds filled with enemies and bosses. Resources earned after each run can unlock skill-tree upgrades, new bullet types, support units, perks, and a berserk mode.
- Order Automatica will make battles mostly about preparation. Units must be positioned on a 3×3 ritual grid, with tile manipulation and carefully built synergies deciding whether the demonic opposition is defeated.
- Railbreak DX will combine on-rails arcade shooting with Unreal Engine 5 in a prelude to Outbreak: Shades of Horror. The entire game will support optional 2-player co-op.
- Tales of Formentera will take players to an island inspired by Formentera’s real landscapes. Talking with locals, visiting landmarks, and piecing together clues will reveal what is happening there.
