The week beginning Monday, August 31 will bring 22 scheduled PS5 releases and 4 additions for PS Plus Essential. The lineup includes The Blood of Dawnwalker, Onimusha: Way of the Sword, Crimson Moon, NBA 2K27, and a new Serious Sam co-op game.
Most of the standalone games will arrive between August 31 and September 4, while the PS Plus games will join on September 1. Here is the schedule by date, along with a quick look at what each release offers.
PS5 games arriving August 31
- Salvation: Echoes of War will arrive on PS5 on August 31. This third-person adventure places a war pilot in a comatose version of purgatory, where stealth, puzzles, and non-aggressive combat help uncover a way forward.
- Serious Sam: Shatterverse will bring 1 to 5-player co-op roguelite FPS action to PS5. Runs move through changing universes, with boons and modifiers adding new ways to fight Mental’s forces.
PS5 games arriving September 1
- Crimson Moon will send players into the ruined city of Gildenarch, where demons, undead creatures, vampires, and Hellgrowth abominations have taken over. The gothic action RPG will also support two-player online co-op.
- Monuments Renovator will let players restore famous landmarks while learning about their history and architecture.
PS5 games arriving September 2
- Angeline Era is a 3D action adventure built around a secret-filled world. Its levels are hidden across an unmarked overworld, so searching carefully will be part of the journey.
- Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault will continue Will’s double life as a shopkeeper and dungeon adventurer. Players will gather relics, sell their finds, and reinvest the profits into the village of Tresna.
- Super Woden: Rally Edge will combine arcade-style racing with more technical driving, bringing the Super Woden series to a new spin-off focused on classic car culture.
PS5 games arriving September 3
- AereA will offer a music-themed action RPG across the broken pieces of the floating island Aezir. The central quest involves recovering 9 primordial instruments while solving puzzles and facing bosses.
- BioEden will put players in the role of a Keeper tasked with bringing life back to a damaged planet, restoring its ecosystems one area at a time.
- Marsupilami 2 – Salsa Palombia will follow a strange musical disaster in Palombia, where dancing animals and the returning Mummy Queen create chaos.
- The Blood of Dawnwalker will take players to 14th-century Europe after the Black Death has weakened the region. Vampires use the crisis to seize power, creating a dark fantasy action RPG about survival, family, and supernatural rule.
- Fight School Simulator will ask players to build and manage their own martial arts school. Training areas, equipment, students, and rival schools will all factor into the climb toward the top.
- Galactic Vault will mix movement-shooter action with roguelike progression. Gun upgrades, underbarrel launchers, and movement abilities can be combined while players fight through corporate defenses and an expanding infestation.
- Komorebi will tell a fully voiced story set in dystopian Toronto in 2041. Social revolt, friendships, romances, and clashes with those in power will shape the protagonist’s path.
- Speed Runners 2: King of Speed will continue the multiplayer movement formula of the original game with high-definition visuals and improved netcode.
PS5 games arriving September 4
- Asdivine Knot will follow Verselio, a young cleric whose faith collapses after the truth about his deity comes to light. His journey through a fantasy world will bring him together with several companions carrying secrets of their own.
- Dream Cage will draw on conversations with people who have experienced sleep paralysis, turning those accounts into its own horror scenario.
- Fear the Timeloop will place players in a hospital with a fatal wound and only 15 minutes to act. Death restarts the cycle, but memories of each attempt remain.
- Isle of Reveries will follow an owl named Lief on a pilgrimage to a mysterious island. Six dungeons, puzzles, and anthropomorphic characters await in this retro-inspired adventure.
- NBA 2K27 will return with MyCAREER, MyTEAM, and MyNBA, giving basketball fans several familiar ways to build their season.
- Onimusha: Way of the Sword will bring intense swordplay to Edo-period Kyoto, where malevolent clouds of Malice have twisted the historic capital.
- Railbreak DX will combine on-rails survival horror shooting with multiplayer support. Players will choose a survivor and fight through a burning city filled with zombies.
