DayZ Badlands Will Arrive October 15 With a New Look at Nasdara
Bohemia Interactive said the Gamescom teaser remains a work in progress and its content may change before release.
DayZ Badlands now has a release date. Bohemia Interactive announced that the expansion will arrive on October 15, 2026, alongside a Gamescom teaser offering another look at Nasdara.
Players can wishlist the expansion ahead of launch, although the studio is still treating the project as a work in progress. Footage and features shown before release may change as development continues.
The Gamescom teaser returns to Nasdara
Bohemia Interactive shared the date and teaser through a new Steam announcement. The video gives survivors a brief look at Nasdara, the desert region being built for Badlands.
Nasdara is planned around long sightlines, rooftops, market streets, and tighter indoor combat spaces. Our Nasdara layout breakdown covered how those areas are meant to create very different fights across the map.
October 15 is still ahead, so there is time for the expansion to change before launch. For now, DayZ players have a firm date and a fresh glimpse at the dusty territory waiting beyond the familiar survival routine.
