Grand Theft Auto VI Launch Trailer Pairs Jason and Lucia With New Justice Music
Justice's "Flower in a Hurricane" accompanies a vulnerable exchange between Jason and Lucia before the trailer breaks into helicopter crashes and armed escapes.

Rockstar’s roughly 90-second Grand Theft Auto VI launch trailer opens with Jason reflecting on a difficult departure from military life before Lucia calls him from prison. In a later, quieter exchange, Lucia wonders whether the pair will be all right, her monitoring anklet visible during a shower scene.
The montage quickly shifts from that vulnerable moment to Leonida’s criminal chaos. A bank vault is blown open, Jason and other armed men emerge from the water in tactical gear, and the footage moves through nightclub scenes and police confrontations. Jason appears long-haired in much of the trailer, then short-haired later, with a helicopter crashing behind him as he holds an assault rifle. Lucia rides another helicopter through the streets with a grenade launcher, while a third swings chained cargo into a row of windows. The pair also leap from a rooftop toward what appears to be a hotel pool.
Rockstar frames the story around an easy score gone wrong that pulls Jason and Lucia into a criminal conspiracy across Leonida, forcing them to rely on each other. At about 90 seconds, this focused look at their partnership is a sharp contrast with August’s nearly 27-minute Extended Look. The launch trailer was captured on PS5, and PlayStation branding bookends the video. Grand Theft Auto VI is scheduled to launch Nov. 19, 2026, on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
The trailer also debuts “Flower in a Hurricane,” a standalone single from Justice, the electronic duo composing the game’s original score. The track features Tame Impala, SZA and King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard.
“Flower in a Hurricane” is part of Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album, scheduled for Nov. 19 with 34 original tracks. Separately, Rockstar says more information about a dedicated album for the game’s original score is coming soon. No release date for that score album has been announced. Players can pre-save the album or find vinyl and CD pre-orders at its official website.
