STAR WARS: The Old Republic will feature 3 in-game events during September 2026, taking players from a Rakghoul outbreak on Tatooine to the ancient Gray Secant on Ilum before a pirate invasion reaches Dantooine. The first event begins on September 1, while the final event will continue into October.
Every event begins and ends at 12:00 PM GMT on its scheduled dates. The complete calendar appears in the game’s September 2026 Steam notice.
Rakghoul Resurgence will begin on Tatooine
Rakghoul Resurgence on Tatooine will run from September 1 through September 8 and requires Level 25 or higher. The Hyland Organization for Rakghoul Neutralization, known as T.H.O.R.N., has issued a level-2 emergency alert after the plague spread across the desert planet.
Players can volunteer as emergency responders and travel to the affected areas while quarantines restrict normal traffic away from Tatooine. The event can be picked up through the News Terminals on the Republic or Imperial Fleet. T.H.O.R.N. also advises travelers to seek early treatment for symptoms and receive a vaccination from a medical supply droid.

Relics of the Gree will return to Ilum
Relics of the Gree will take place from September 15 through September 22 for Level 50+ characters. The event sends players to Ilum’s contested Western Ice Shelf, where the enormous ancient Gree starship known as the Gray Secant holds the mystery at the center of the activity—and a powerful opponent waiting inside.
Republic players can begin through the News Terminal on Carrick Station, while Imperial players can use the terminal at Vaiken Spacedock. The reward pool includes:
- Reputation with the Gree Enclave
- Gree Digitization Cube
- White, Red, and Blue Scalene Armor
- Gray Helix Weapons
- L1-L Defender, L1-L Scout, and Miniature Gray Secant Mini-pets
- Cyan Sphere, Blue Sphere and Red Sphere Vehicles
Pirate Incursion will close out September on Dantooine
Pirate Incursion will run from September 29 through October 6 and requires Level 20 or higher. The Nova Blade pirates will attack Dantooine as tensions rise between the Galactic Republic and the Sith Empire. Imperial forces are secretly pushing the conflict forward, leaving the Republic to defend one of its remote strongholds.
The event’s rewards include Nova Blade and Dantooine Homesteader Armor Sets, an Ugnaught Companion, Walker and Kath Hound Mounts, a Kath Hound Mini-pet, and Dantooine-inspired Stronghold Decorations.
