STAR WARS: The Old Republic Adds Expert Venture and Level 85 PvP to Phase 5 PTS

Venture: Expert is available for Jedi Knight and Imperial Agent Origin Stories, while Odessen vendors stock PvP gear and Expertise Augments.

Phase 5 of the STAR WARS: The Old Republic Game Update 8.0 Public Test Server adds Venture: Expert for Jedi Knight and Imperial Agent Origin Stories, opens level 85 PvP queues, and brings Mercenary and Commando balance changes to the test build, according to the Steam announcement.

Venture: Expert follows Venture: Classic’s earlier arrival. At character creation, players can make a Venture-specific character and lock it to a difficulty: Classic uses Veteran, while Expert uses Master. Progress requires completing specific objectives, with unique enemies, loot, consumables, and Venture currency available to support the run.

Level 85 Warzone and Arena queues are now open for testing. Players can prepare characters on Odessen, where vendors provide 380 gear, Tacticals, Implants, and consumables. Expertise is also returning to PvP in the form of Augments, which are available from those vendors. The level 85 PvP feedback thread has further details for testers.

Mercenary and Commando balance changes are also on the PTS. Players can review the changelist and share feedback in the class feedback thread.
