Fellowship 0.4.4.0 patch notes detail big Meiko buffs and cross-league matchmaking

The update also adds safer Legendary Souldust rerolls, several hero fixes, and new reward scaling through Eternal 30-39.

Fellowship Weekly Update 0.4.4.0 outlines a broad balance pass led by some very large Meiko damage increases. The patch also adds cross-league matchmaking, gives players more control over crafting rerolls, and addresses hero, dungeon, tooltip, and reward issues. The team detailed the changes in its Weekly Update 0.4.4.0 announcement.

Rather than redesigning abilities, the balance work relies on direct number changes so the developers can respond quickly if anything becomes too strong. Bug fixes and work toward version 1.0 remain ongoing priorities, with more matchmaking and crafting adjustments under review over the next couple of weeks.

The update follows Fellowship Hotfix 0.4.3.1, which focused on targeted hero and dungeon problems.

Meiko receives the largest damage pass

Meiko’s changes are the clearest part of the balance update. Double Palm Strike receives a 300% damage increase, while Twin Souls / Army of One goes up by 100%. Rising Storm and Rising Earth both gain 60%, and several other attacks receive increases between 30% and 50%.

Sylvie also receives help across healing and damage. Her Fluttercall healing improves by 27%, Heartbloom creates one additional Boomshroom, and Boomshroom damage rises by 65%. Ardeos and Aeona gain 10% damage across their damage-dealing abilities, while Elarion receives 8% and Rime and Mara each receive 4%.

Matchmaking now covers multiple unlocked leagues

Players can now enable every unlocked league at the same time when searching for a group. Fellowship will search from the lowest enabled league upward, which should give less-populated lower leagues priority. Players can still leave out leagues that are below the difficulty they want.

The team said it plans to keep working on this system, including multi-hero queueing and a better way to rank suitable matches.

Crafting rerolls offer more control

Rerolling an item slot now presents the current item alongside the new result, allowing players to keep what they already have instead of accepting a worse outcome. New recipes also randomize a modifier within its existing type, such as changing one Trait into another Trait or one Blessing into another Blessing. These recipes begin at a cost of 1 Epic Souldust.

Fellowship 0.4.4.0 Patch Notes

The notes cover hero tuning first, followed by fixes for traits, dungeon rewards, tooltips, and encounter timers. Matchmaking, interface behavior, and endgame crafting also receive their own changes.
