Phasmophobia 0.19.0.0 Adds Restricted Maps and Cleans Up Ghost Hunts

Kinetic Games added Restricted variants for Prison, Brownstone High School, and Point Hope alongside evidence UI changes, VR work, and a long list of fixes.

Kinetic Games released Phasmophobia v0.19.0.0 on August 25, 2026, bringing the second part of the game’s Quality of Life update to Ghost Hunters. The patch adds Restricted variants for Prison, Brownstone High School, and Point Hope, while also improving evidence tracking, Journal readability, VR movement, and multiplayer stability.

The new evidence tools should make investigations easier to read at a glance. Video Cameras, Photo Cameras, and Sound Recorders now identify duplicate evidence, while the Journal shows other players’ Evidence and Ghost Type selections. Selecting a Ghost Type also highlights the evidence needed to confirm it.

Custom Difficulty receives a useful option too: players can select the Ghost Type directly, although doing so sets the multiplier to 0. Runs with a 0 multiplier will not count toward progress such as achievements or leaflets. The patch follows July’s 0.18.0.1 fixes, which focused on camera issues, multiplayer problems, VR bugs, and hiding spots.

Kinetic Games also detailed the changes in its Quality of Life Part 2 preview. The complete release notes are available in the official update announcement.
