VALORANT Patch 13.04 Puts Abyss In and Breeze Out of the Map Pool

The PC-only Premier update introduces a five-week stage, while qualified Playoffs will take place across September 19 and 20.

Riot Games published the VALORANT Patch 13.04 notes on August 18. The update moves Abyss into the Competitive and Deathmatch map pools, pushing Breeze out of both queues.

Patch 13.04 also opens Act 5 with several Agent fixes, a stability fix involving Clove, and a correction for transforming melee weapon inspections on PC. Premier Stage V26A5 will run for five weeks instead of the usual seven, with matches scheduled to begin August 18.

Teams with a Premier Score of at least 450 can qualify for Playoffs on September 20, while Contender and Invite teams will continue to qualify through their placement. For those two divisions, the first Playoffs round will take place on September 19, followed by the finals on September 20.
