World of Tanks Details 2026 Frontline Event With Three Huge Maps and 500 Bonds

The event features Normandie, Kraftwerk, and Fata Morgana alongside a reward path that reaches milestone 20.

World of Tanks is outlining the 2026 summer edition of Frontline, a large-scale event built around sector captures, defensive pillboxes, and a progression path that awards up to 500 bonds. Wargaming’s Frontline 2026: Summer Launch page details the maps, objectives, resupply rules, and rewards, but does not provide a separate date for when the event will begin.

Three maps make up Frontline’s battlefield

Frontline takes place across three maps created specifically for the mode. Normandie, Kraftwerk, and Fata Morgana each measure 3 km × 3 km, giving both teams plenty of room to attack, defend, and reposition.

Open areas, fortified positions, and chokepoints define the battlefields. Success depends on coordinating pushes rather than simply charging toward the next objective, especially when a team needs to hold ground while another group captures a sector.

Capture sectors before targeting the pillboxes

Attackers progress through Frontline by entering capture zones. Once a base falls, the attacking team controls the entire zone and the next zone in the front becomes available. The mode uses standard base-capture rules, so holding the circle is only the beginning of each advance.

After attackers capture at least one sector in the second defensive front, the match moves toward its main objective: destroying the pillboxes. Each map has five of these long-range guns, and every pillbox has its own HP pool. The attacking team wins after destroying three.

Frontal attacks are a poor idea because pillboxes are protected by armored hoods and are nearly impenetrable from the front. Their rear armor is much thinner, giving attackers a clear reason to work around the defenses instead of trading shots head-on.

Resupply circles keep damaged tanks in the fight

Special Resupply Circles are spread throughout the active combat area. Tanks can use them to restore HP, repair modules, and replenish ammunition and consumables, but the circles cannot be used continuously.

Once a vehicle has been repaired to 100%, its crew must wait 120 seconds before using the same resupply function again. Taking a hit while inside a circle adds another five-minute wait before the vehicle can finish repairing and stock up on rounds.

Frontline rewards run through milestone 20

Playing battles and advancing through the event progression awards Battle Pass Points, bonds, Combat Reserve Points, directives, and other items. The reward milestones include the following:

Milestone Rewards
2–4 20 Battle Pass Points, Combat Reserve Points, 25 bonds, and ×5 directives
5 20 Battle Pass Points, ×3 Combat Reserve Points, a Retraining Order, a Mentoring License, and Experimental Equipment
6–9 20 Battle Pass Points, Combat Reserve Points, 25 bonds, and ×5 directives
10 20 Battle Pass Points, ×3 Combat Reserve Points, a Retraining Order, a Mentoring License, and Experimental Equipment
11–14 20 Battle Pass Points, Combat Reserve Points, 25 bonds, and ×5 directives
15 20 Battle Pass Points, ×3 Combat Reserve Points, a Retraining Order, a Mentoring License, and Experimental Equipment
16–19 20 Battle Pass Points, 50 bonds, ×5 directives, and a Universal Booklet
20 20 Battle Pass Points, 500 bonds, ×3 Retraining Orders, a Universal Manual, and Experimental Equipment

Frontline’s 2026 summer format pairs a familiar capture-and-advance structure with map control, pillbox positioning, and a reward ladder that saves its biggest bond payout for the final milestone.
