PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium members will receive a staggered August lineup packed with medieval role-playing, co-op combat, roguelite survival, and several classic adventures. Sony detailed the schedule in its August 12 PlayStation Plus announcement.
Helldivers 2 will become available to PlayStation Plus Extra members worldwide later on August 12. Kingdom Come: Deliverance II, Vampire Survivors, and two Premium additions will follow on August 18. Five more games are scheduled for August 25 in the US, UK, and Japan.
Helldivers 2 joins the catalog on August 12
Helldivers 2 is coming to the Game Catalog for PS5 players, giving Extra members another way to enlist with Super Earth and battle hostile alien forces. Arrowhead Game Studios’ co-op shooter supports squads of up to four players, with friendly fire always active for an extra layer of chaos.
Players can call in heavy weapons, airstrikes, and other destructive tools while fighting across alien worlds. The Game Catalog addition will also coincide with a major new update for the shooter, giving the community another reason to return to the front.
Kingdom Come: Deliverance II and Vampire Survivors arrive on August 18
Kingdom Come: Deliverance II will be available on PS5. The game follows Henry of Skalitz as he moves from the life of a blacksmith into a wider conflict shaped by revenge, betrayal, and discovery. Its open-world story takes place in 15th-century Bohemia, where a civil war brings danger to city streets, forests, and royal courts.
Also coming to PS5 and PS4 is Vampire Survivors. The gothic horror roguelite turns each run into a frantic fight against waves of supernatural enemies. Players choose how to build their character while hundreds of monsters fill the screen, creating opportunities for powerful combinations before the inevitable end of the run.
Premium members will also receive two older adventures on August 18. Onimusha: Dawn of Dreams comes to PS5 and PS4 with Soki and his allies facing the demon-like Genma across Feudal Japan. The story begins after a strange glowing planet appears on June 29, 1596, and changes the fate of Toyotomi Hideyoshi. The game originally released on PS2.
Disney’s Atlantis: The Lost Empire will also be available on PS5 and PS4 through the Premium lineup. The classic action-adventure originally released on the original PlayStation and follows Milo Thatch and a team of specialists searching for the secrets of Atlantis. This version adds up-rendering, rewind, quick save, and custom video filters.
Five more games are scheduled for August 25
Hell is Us will arrive on PS5 on August 25 in the US, UK, and Japan. The third-person action adventure combines close-quarters combat with a semi-open world. Players take the role of Rémi, a United Nations peacekeeper who goes absent without leave after entering a country torn apart by internal conflict. While searching for his missing parents, he encounters chimaera-like creatures and investigates the mysterious calamity affecting the region.
PS4 players will get Umamusume Pretty Derby – Party Dash, a colorful competition game built around four events: Hurtling Hurdles, Blazing Baskets, Dodgeball Demolition, and Gourmet Gauntlet. Four teams of five Umamusume compete for victory, with players choosing a character for each event and dealing with the Grand Prix’s unusual rules.
Two Point Museum will be available on PS5. As curator, players manage a growing museum, send partially trained Experts on expeditions, and return with rare artifacts to display. The August addition also includes access to a new expedition location with a special exhibit and related events.
PS5 and PS4 players can also pick up Metro Exodus, 4A Games’ story-driven first-person shooter. The post-apocalyptic journey combines combat, stealth, exploration, and survival horror across large, non-linear areas. Its story spans a full year, moving through spring, summer, autumn, and nuclear winter, with a narrative inspired by Dmitry Glukhovsky’s novels.
Finally, Dying Light 2 will arrive on PS5 and PS4. Aiden Caldwell must survive a city where rival factions and a virus-transformed population threaten every step. Players develop their combat skills, form alliances, make choices that affect the city, and uncover the secrets behind those competing for power.
All eight Game Catalog games will be available to PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium subscribers. The two Classics Catalog releases are limited to the Premium tier.
