Pokémon Pokopia: Where to Find Gold Teeth and Summon Feraligatr

Professor Tangrowth appraises Large Relics from Bubbly Basin, while Ditto's Rock Smash helps uncover the glowing blocks that may contain them.

Gold Teeth are one of the rarer finds in Pokémon Pokopia’s Bubbly Basin. They come from an appraisal system rather than a guaranteed pickup, but they are worth hunting down if you want to add Feraligatr to your Pokédex.

Bubbly Basin arrived as the first wave of the Pokémon Pokopia Expansion Pass, bringing new creatures, locations, and items to collect. The area’s Gold Teeth have a couple of small uses, with one being especially important for players trying to complete their collection.

How to Find Gold Teeth in Bubbly Basin

Start by searching Bubbly Basin for glowing yellow blocks. When you find one, use Ditto’s Rock Smash ability to break it open and collect the item inside.

The blocks can contain several different rewards, so finding one does not guarantee a Gold Tooth. Possible results include a CD, a slab for the Mew mural, a Small Relic, or a fossil.

Once you collect a Large Relic, take it to Professor Tangrowth for appraisal. Gold Teeth can only come from Large Relics found in Bubbly Basin, and the random results mean you may need to search several glowing blocks before receiving one.

That makes patience the key part of the process. Keep checking the area for more Large Relics, then bring each one back to Professor Tangrowth until the appraisal produces the item you need.

What Gold Teeth Are Used For

Gold Teeth are classified as a toy in Pokémon Pokopia. You can place them as decorations, or use them to improve a Pokémon’s comfort level.

Their most important purpose is tied to Feraligatr. To make Feraligatr appear, build the Biteable Punching Bag Habitat. This habitat requires Gold Teeth, a table, a Punching Bag, and a Sandpile. Feraligatr is the only Pokémon that can spawn from this setup.

Because the habitat is required to encounter the fully evolved form of Totodile, Gold Teeth are essential for anyone working through the Bubbly Basin Pokédex. Avoid placing or losing the item before you build the habitat.

If you need another copy later, the camera and 3D Printer can be used to create more Gold Teeth. That gives you some room to use the item as a decoration or comfort toy without blocking access to Feraligatr.
