Red Dead Online’s August Events Put Triple Rewards on Telegram Missions
The promotion also adds bonuses for Collector Set Sales, Collectibles, Free Roam Events, Featured Series modes, and weekly clothing rewards through August 31.
Rockstar’s August event notice brings triple rewards to Red Dead Online’s Telegram Missions through August 31. The monthly promotion also gives Collectors more ways to earn money, Role XP, clothing, and treasure map rewards.
Telegram Missions Pay 3X Rewards
Players can help the reclusive author Theodore Levin investigate paranormal rumors, carry out revenge schemes, and take on thefts through missions such as A Tough Business, Skelding’s Contract, and Strange Tales of the West. All Red Dead Online Telegram Missions pay 3X RDO$, XP, and Gold during the event.
A New Source of Employment Telegram Missions are the exception to the Gold bonus. They do not award 3X Gold.
Telegram Missions arrive through a local Post Office or the Camp Lockbox. After collecting one, open the Satchel, choose Documents, and launch the mission from there.
Collectors Get More for Sets and Finds
Complete Collector Set Sales pay 3X RDO$, Role XP, and XP through August 31. Finding individual Collectibles also awards 3X Role XP during the same period.
The Metal Detector and Pennington Field Shovel are both 50% off from Madam Nazar, giving players who have not purchased them a cheaper way to search for artifacts and other collectibles.
Frontiersman Rewards Run Week by Week
Several rewards are available across the full month. Logging in anytime through August 31 grants the Frontiersman Hat, while discovering two Collectibles during any week awards the Frontiersman Gloves. Completing two Daily Challenges also provides an Offer for 10 Gold Bars off any Role Gating Item.
- August 4–10: Collectors at Rank 10 or higher can log in for the Frontiersman Pants and Belt. Finding a Fossil grants the blue Vaquero Baroque Spurs.
- August 11–17: Collectors at Rank 10 or higher can log in for the Frontiersman Boots and Half Chaps. Completing Collector Daily Challenges grants a reward for the North Clingman Treasure Map.
- August 18–24: Rank 20 Collectors can log in for the Frontiersman Shirt and Suspenders. Completing the Weekly Collection grants a reward for a Free Shirt.
- August 25–31: Rank 20 Collectors can log in for the Frontiersman Neckerchief. Winning in the Featured Series grants a reward for the Burned Town Treasure Map.
Limited-Time Clothing
Tailors and the Catalogue are carrying the following limited-time clothing through August 31:
- Griffith Chaps
- Menasco Hat
- Gardenia Hat
- Clymene Coat
- Cardozo Vest
A separate Collector outfit is also available for free from the Wheeler, Rawson & Co. Catalogue. Its pieces are the Owanjila Hat, Porter Jacket, Iniesta Shirtwaist for female characters or Everyday Shirt for male characters, Traditional Vest, Bandito Pants, Bowyer Boots for female characters or Dunsinnan Boots for male characters, and the Neckerchief.
Free Roam Events and Featured Series
The Trade Route Free Roam Event pays 3X RDO$ and XP. Players must protect a train carrying valuable goods while fighting armed bandits. Collectors can also search for the Condor Egg to earn 3X RDO$ and XP through August 31.
The Featured Series offers 3X RDO$ and XP throughout the month, with the mode changing each week:
- August 4–10: Hardcore Elimination Series
- August 11–17: Takeover Series
- August 18–24: Explosive Series
- August 25–31: Hardcore Pro Series
