Unrailed 2 Patch Reopens China Networking and Targets GPU Crashes

Unrailed 2: Back on Track received a new stability patch from Indoor Astronaut that updates two core dependencies, Godot and ANGLE. The developer said the changes address crashes connected to graphics drivers, Godot, video memory, and driver resets.

The update also changes how the game handles newer AMD graphics cards. Modern AMD Radeon GPUs should now be directed to Vulkan automatically, which the developer said provides smoother performance. The patch brings back the experimental China networking option and adds clearer information when players cannot join a lobby.

Mac players get a more direct Steam Input setup as well. When Steam lacks the required macOS Accessibility permission, Unrailed 2: Back on Track now displays an in-game prompt after detecting a controller. Indoor Astronaut detailed the changes in its Steam announcement.

This patch focuses on graphics stability, connection troubleshooting, and crossplay version handling. It also keeps connection errors visible for longer and makes gameplay version 129 the default when crossplay is enabled.
