AMD’s Adrenalin 26.7.1 Driver Adds Gears of War: E-Day Support
The update also adds Radeon RX 9050 support and fixes issues affecting Fortnite, Battlefield 6, Blender, and Maxon Cinema 4D.
AMD has released the Adrenalin Edition 26.7.1 driver for its Radeon graphics cards. The update adds support for the Gears of War: E-Day Open Beta Early Access phase, giving PC players a new driver build ahead of the shooter’s test period.
The release also adds support for the AMD Radeon RX 9050. On the bug-fix side, it addresses a missing directional indicator in Fortnite on Radeon RX 7000 series and newer graphics products.
AMD also fixed intermittent crashes in some games when AMD FSR Upscaling 4.1 was enabled on Windows 10 systems with Radeon RX 7000 series graphics products. On Radeon RX 9000 series products, AMD FSR Upscaling and AMD FSR Frame Generation should no longer appear inactive in AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition while playing Battlefield 6.
Outside of games, the driver targets rendering problems and crashes in Maxon Cinema 4D and Blender on Radeon RX 7000 series and newer graphics products.

AMD Software Adrenalin Edition 26.7.1 Driver Release Notes
This release adds a new Radeon product and two supported games. Its fixes cover game crashes, missing interface elements, rendering faults, and incorrect FSR status indicators. AMD also lists several known issues, including Battlefield 6 crashes on AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 and a possible loss of Smart Access Memory after installation on Windows 10.

- AMD FSR Upscaling and AMD FSR Frame Generation may show as inactive in AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition while playing Battlefield™ 6 when enabled on Radeon™ RX 9000 series graphics products.
Known Issues
- Intermittent application crash or driver timeout may be observed while playing Battlefield™ 6 on AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370. AMD is actively working on a resolution with the developer to be released as soon as possible.
- Texture flickering or corruption may appear while playing Battlefield™ 6 with AMD Record and Stream on some AMD graphics products.
- Failure to install may be observed while installing AI Bundle components in some regions with limited access to HuggingFace and GitHub.
- AMD Smart Access Memory may become disabled after driver installation on Windows® 10 systems.
