Red Barrels laid out Project Boneyard for The Outlast Trials in a Steam post on Steam, and the Season 7 update is due on July 14, 2026 at 10:00am ET.
The update adds Prison Farm, a new Trial environment, and brings Sergeant Leland Coyle back in Locksock the Warden. Two MK-Challenges are also coming, Bribe the Judges and Cancel the Broadcast, along with the new Ex-Pop The Biter.
Red Barrels said Project Boneyard will also include a Deluxe Catalog with 10 pages of cosmetic items, plus quality-of-life changes such as Rig and Knife customization, Loadout Presets, Mastery Tasks, and a hint system. Escalation and Invasion are both getting reworks in the same release.
Blood Drive will run from July 14 through August 25, and Red Barrels tied the event to a separate Twitch Drops push through its Project Boneyard Twitch Drops FAQ. The studio also said more details on Invasion 2.0 will arrive in the full patch notes on July 14.
