TF2’s summer patch lands with six new maps and a long cleanup pass
The update adds the Summer 2026 event content through September 15 and folds in fixes for items, audio, and several maps.

Valve released a new Team Fortress 2 update on July 7, and it applies automatically the next time you restart the game. This one is packed with Summer 2026 content, including six community maps, a new cosmetic case, a new war paint case, and four taunts added to the Mann Co. Store.
The seasonal event runs through September 15, 2026, so there is still a solid window to jump in and see the new maps and cosmetics in action. Valve also paired the content drop with security and stability improvements, plus a long list of community fixes across items, effects, sounds, and maps.
On the content side, the update adds Dryfield, Camp Saxton, Shorelight, Redwood, Premuda, and Mojave. It also brings the Summer 2026 Cosmetic Case, the Summer 2026 War Paint Case, 12 new community-created Unusual effects, and four new taunts for the store.
