Helldivers 2’s 6.3.1 patch trims down crashes and a few lobby headaches
Arrowhead's latest Machinery of Oppression update fixes fullscreen and vehicle-customization crashes, plus voice chat and new-player mission bugs.

Arrowhead published Helldivers 2 Machinery of Oppression: 6.3.1 on July 7, 2026, and the update keeps its attention on stability. It follows the broader 6.3.0 pass that added the Control Center and a larger balance sweep, which makes this one feel like the cleanup crew walking in after the louder party.
The new notes go after crash cases tied to display mode swaps, vehicle customization, and mission hosting. If you have been bouncing between fullscreen and windowed modes or spending time in the vehicle menu, this patch should take some of the sting out of those rough edges.
Arrowhead also fixed two bugs that could interrupt regular play in a more annoying way. Voice chat should work again after rejoining a lobby, and new players should no longer get stuck while trying to find their first mission.

It is a small update on paper, but these are the kinds of fixes that can save a run from turning into a headache. If you ran into one of these bugs before, this patch should make the battlefield feel a lot less temperamental.
