Darktide's 1.12.3 hotfix is live, and Skitarii tuning is still on the way

Warhammer 40,000: Darktide Hotfix 1.12.3 started rolling out on all platforms on July 6, 2026, and the immediate change list is short.

Fatshark said it is still working through feedback from the Skitarii Class release, with a broader pass underway for Skitarii Blitz Abilities, the class’s melee weapons, and the Mechanicus Power Sword. The studio also said it is looking at balance for the new Vanguard enemy, with those changes planned for the next patch after summer break.

Hotfix 1.12.3 Patch Notes

The hotfix itself only lists one gameplay fix, but the developer note makes it clear that more class tuning is still on the way.

General Fixes

Fixed missing auto-aim on Advanced Combat Doctrines when shooting targets moving sideways.

Known Issues

The initial section of the Chasm Station HL-16-11 mission has some navigational issues that might cause enemies to navigate unpredictably.

Fatshark said more work is already in progress, so this update reads more like a quick stop on the road than the end of the tune-up pass.
