Warhammer 40,000: Darktide has added the Alpha Primus Skitarius as its third Class DLC, and Fatshark says the class is live now. The new recruit leans hard into Adeptus Mechanicus style, with a flexible talent tree, several weapon families, and a few very handy machine-built companions.
In the setup, Hadron gains access to an ancient Adeptus Mechanicus facility in the wastes outside Tertium, where veteran Skitarii can be upgraded into Alpha Primus combatants. The class starts from the center of its talent tree, opens more nodes than any previous class, and gives players room to push their build in different directions.

The class kit runs on a Motive Engine with 3 base charges. From there, Skitarii can trigger abilities like Voltaic Expander, Voltaic Emitter, Chordclaw Strike, and Advanced Combat Doctrines, which swaps the player to a secondary weapon and locks onto nearby enemies with far tighter aim.
Fatshark also tied in extra customization. Players can choose from four distinct personalities and even customize the voice, which gives the class a little more room to stand out beyond the armor and augmetics.
The Servo-Skull is another big piece of the package. The base version can fire at enemies and handle Data Interrogation minigames with a double-tap on Tag, while upgraded versions add permanent combat boosts, medicae support, or a deployed flamer. If you would rather skip the skull, Arc Grenades and the Integrated Refractor Emitter are available as Blitz alternatives.
On the weapon side, the launch loadout includes the Mechanicus Power Sword, Paired Transonic Blades, Arc Maul, Arc Rifle, Galvanic Rifle, and Mechanicus Phosphor Blast Pistol. Fatshark also said the Commodore’s Vestures rotation now includes the Mordian Iron Guard bundle, with the Ecclesiarchy Faithful bundle joining the same cosmetic refresh.
For players who want to test ideas before loading into a mission, Fatshark pointed to the Gameslantern build planner. The studio also posted a fuller weapon breakdown on its official forum post.
