Blizzard posted this week’s World of Warcraft roundup early, and it is packed. The official weekly update covers Turbulent Timeways, the next wave of quality-of-life changes for Curse of Ula’tek, July’s Trading Post lineup, a custom shop mount, and a new short story.
Turbulent Timeways is live now
The six-week event runs from June 30 through August 11 and sends players through a Timewalking rotation that starts and ends with Dragonflight. This week’s line-up includes Algeth’ar Academy, Halls of Infusion, Neltharus, Ruby Life Pools, The Azure Vaults, and Brackenhide Hollow.
Players can also find Xydan, the new Dragonflight vendor, in the Bronze Enclave in Valdrakken. Blizzard says the weekly Timewalking quest also pays out a Heroic Cache of Quel’Thalas Treasures with item levels ranging from 259 to 276. More detail is available in Blizzard’s Timeways post.
Patch 12.1 will lean harder into quality-of-life fixes
Blizzard said the upcoming Curse of Ula’tek content update will add account-wide UI settings, Auction House improvements, a one-time Profession Knowledge reset, and fixes for common combat and travel problems. The studio also said it will keep making adjustments that smooth out the player experience in future updates.
If you want the longer breakdown, Blizzard’s full Q&A on the changes has the extra context.
July’s Trading Post goes heavy on blue and rockets
July’s Trading Post leans into a bright blue theme, with new items spread across the month’s Traveler’s Log rewards. The big prize is the Bilgewater X-TREME mount, and Blizzard says players can earn Trader’s Tender by completing activities and filling out the log.
The Trading Post is open in Stormwind near the Mage District, in Orgrimmar beside Grommash Hold, in Dornogal at The Foregrounds, and in the renewed Silvermoon City. Blizzard’s July Trading Post article has the full item list.
The Stoneforged Sentinel brings a huge pile of customization
The week’s shop mount is the Stoneforged Sentinel, a flying guardian with more than 300,000 possible variants. Players can change its stone, metal, gem, saddle, head, wing, claw, and tail styles, and it scales to the fastest riding skill each character has unlocked.
If a character cannot use a flying mount yet, it still works as a ground mount. Blizzard points players to the Battle.net Shop listing for the mount.
There is also a new short story on the table
Blizzard rounded out the post with The Bitter Truth, a three-part Warcraft short story focused on Lor’themar and Torundo the Grizzled. The story is narrated by Gideon Emery and Keston John, with a downloadable PDF written by Robert Brooks and illustrated by Surfside 3D.
It is a busy week in Azeroth, and the calendar does not look any calmer from here. Share your thoughts in the comments, and follow us on X, Bluesky, YouTube, Instagram.
