Nikita posts PAY2WIN code for Escape from Tarkov then hands players a trash bundle

Battlestate Games director Nikita Buyanov posted a code called PAY2WIN on December 7, 2025 that promised valuable loot for Escape from Tarkov players but turned out to be a tongue-in-cheek gag. Buyanov shared the code and a preview image in a public post. Players who entered the code in the launcher found the reward was a deliberately poor assortment of items rather than high-end gear. For the original post, you can see the tweet below:

The bundle included junk-tier weapons and consumables rather than the rare items the promotional art suggested. Reported contents include a TOZ shotgun, a small pistol often called a Blicky, one of the smallest backpacks, a pack of croutons, a fuze without its grenade, and a replica helmet.

Players were quick to point out the contrast between the promo image and the actual reward, and the gag landed as a reminder that not every code is a windfall. Battlestate has released other short-term codes recently, which are collected in the site’s list of all Escape from Tarkov codes. If readers want to add context or complain about their new Blicky, drop a comment and follow for more Escape from Tarkov updates on X, Bluesky, and YouTube.
