FBC: Firebreak from Remedy Entertainment received a compact hotfix this week, arriving for consoles on Aug. 29. The update tackles Frost Anomalies that could still hurt players after being destroyed and clears up placeholder text in non-English menus.
Patch Notes
Hotfix 1.5.2
- Fixed an issue in Freezer Duty where destroyed Frost Anomalies could still deal damage to players.
- Fixed placeholder text appearing on the Results screen in non-English localizations.
This is the second hotfix Remedy has released in a short span, following the quality-of-life patch earlier in the week. For the developer’s own announcement about upcoming work, read Remedy’s Steam news post for the major update planned for the end of September.
Minor fixes like this are the sort of housekeeping that keep multiplayer runs from turning into nonsense – annoying, but thankfully quick to patch. Who thought frozen enemies would be the ones breaking the game? They did, and now it’s quieter.
