ARC Raiders has been on many gamers’ radars after its early testing phases, but Embark Studios just announced there won’t be any more beta tests before the game launches on October 30. Fans hoping to catch it at Gamescom will also be disappointed, as the game won’t be shown there in any form.
Embark Studios is focused on polishing and expanding the experience based on feedback from earlier tests. The team in Stockholm shared that they are putting all their energy into preparing for the full release rather than running additional public tests.
The team here in Stockholm is in full gear, getting ready for release on October 30! Our focus is now on polishing and expanding the experience, and putting all the learnings from TT2 into action ahead of release. Just so you know, we're not planning additional public tests… pic.twitter.com/P9MLuNBWk4

Fans quickly pointed out how successful early tests were and noted the ongoing popularity of the Battlefield 6 beta, which helped build a lot of hype. Guess Embark decided to skip another beta to focus on the final product instead.
ARC Raiders’ release date was only announced at the start of June, so there’s still some waiting to do. Meanwhile, big shooter titles like Battlefield 6 and Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 are preparing to make waves, with Black Ops 7 revealing more during Gamescom’s Opening Night Live.
Wondering if skipping a beta might affect ARC Raiders’ reception? Could it be a risk or a smart move? Yikes, it’s a bit of a climb to launch without that extra testing hype.
