The Battlefield 6 Early Access beta is just around the corner, offering players a chance to jump into the action before the general public. If you want to be among the first to test this highly awaited shooter, knowing how to get an invite matters a lot.
The Early Access beta is scheduled to start at 8 AM UTC on August 7, but not everyone will get in right away. The initial days are invite-only, so here’s what you need to know to get in early.
How to Get Battlefield 6 Early Access Beta
Early Access is granted either by watching the Streamer Showcase on July 31 or by signing up for Battlefield Labs before that date. The Streamer Showcase requires you to be logged into Twitch and watch for at least 60 minutes. This is the only way to get Early Access through viewing.
Interestingly, a social media post clarified that anyone signed up for Battlefield Labs also gains Early Access, even if they didn’t get an invite to the Labs itself. Just be sure you registered before July 31.
There aren’t other ways to get in early, and EA doesn’t seem to be opening more slots. So if you want to jump in first, you’ll have to watch or sign up soon.
The beta will be playable on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC through Steam, the Epic Games Store, and the EA App.
The Early Access window starts August 7 at 8 AM UTC. Then the Open Beta kicks off August 9 at the same time and runs until August 11, followed by a second Open Beta from August 14 to August 17.
Preloads for the beta will be available from 3 PM UTC on August 4, giving you time to download the game before jumping in.

So, are you planning to catch all the beta sessions? Watching the Streamer Showcase might feel a bit like a commitment, but hey, it’s your best shot at early access. Wondering what the multiplayer will look like at launch? There are nine maps confirmed, and unfortunately, no plans for a Nintendo Switch 2 version.
