The Pokémon Company announced a new addition to its upcoming Pokémon Presents live stream: a pre-show music event starring DJ Pikachu. This pre-show is scheduled to air an hour before the main broadcast on July 22, offering fans a fresh way to kick off the event.
Earlier this week, a teaser image showed Pikachu standing behind DJ decks with speakers, hinting at a music-related connection. Now, it’s clear that “Everyone Gather! DJ Pikachu Live” will be a special stream on the Pokémon YouTube channel just before the main presentation starts.
The main Pokémon Presents event will return on Tuesday, July 22, and while details about what will be revealed remain under wraps, many expect updates on Pokémon Legends Z-A, the next big title in the series. The release date for this game was confirmed earlier this year.
Fans are also curious about what The Pokémon Company might announce for 2026, which marks the franchise’s 30th anniversary. There’s speculation that Pokémon’s 10th generation could coincide with this milestone, but nothing official has been shared yet.
