Tango Gameworks and Bethesda have released a new update for The Evil Within 2. It’s not a usual update, but yet it adds a first-person mode. We found this to be quite an adrenaline boost for those who enjoy playing horror games.
Some of you already know and may have been able to play the game in first-person by enabling the console. But now, it’s word about an officially allowed feature by Bethesda. Therefore, you won’t need to do any extra things except flick a setting in the options menu.
As the developers have noted, the First-Person Gameplay Mode comes for free, which means there will be no expenses on your side to enjoy the new perspective. As a celebration to this, Bethesda has published a trailer which showcases some scenes from the actual game, but in first-person.
No matter how scary it was before, it is time for yet another run, in first-person. Additionally, the full changelog reveals that various of fixes are also performed. You can find them below.
